Co-Design Participatory Processes and Preparation of Detailed Public Space Design Proposals.

We collaborated with the Public Space Network NGO on projects promoting safe, inclusive public spaces in Nairobi. Our role involved providing technical support to student trainees.

Projects included:
  • Calvary Playgrounds in Kayole: Co-designing vibrant community spaces and enhancing safety.Conducting settlement UCODE co-design campaigns.
  • Kamukunji Park Co-design in Kamukunji: Facilitating participatory workshops to optimize space and amenities.
  • Nairobi Dam Ground Community Park in Kibera: Supporting the revitalization process and focusing on accessibility.
  • Dandora Wayleave Community Space in Dandora: Repurposing space with detailed design tailored to community needs.

We has transformed underutilized spaces into vibrant community hubs in Nairobi. By incorporating participatory processes and technical expertise, we've created safe, inclusive, and accessible public spaces, enhancing residents' quality of life. Our partnership with the Public Space Network NGO reflects our commitment to sustainable urban development and community empowerment. Leveraging our technical knowledge, we aim to continue improving public spaces and fostering social cohesion in Nairobi.
